1. What We Collect

Information you give us: name, mobile number, email address, profile details, photos, and any content you post (including reviews).
Location information: approximate or precise location (with your permission) to show professionals nearby.
Professional listings: for professionals listed on Nearby, we collect business name, category, description, service area, and contact numbers, which are displayed to users who discover them.
Automatically collected data: device information, log data, usage analytics, and crash reports.
Reviews you publish: stored and displayed publicly on the platform.

2. How We Use It

To operate and improve Nearby (discovery, search, listings, reviews).
To display a professional's contact number to users who wish to contact them directly.
To show your reviews and profile content to other users.
To communicate with you, provide support, and send service updates.
To detect abuse, fraud, and security incidents, and to comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing

User ↔ Professional: when a user views a professional's listing, the professional's contact number is shared directly with that user. When a user contacts a professional, the user shares their own details with that professional. Such sharing is the purpose of the platform and occurs by design.
Reviews are public. Please do not post personal data of others in a review.
Service providers: we may share data with vendors who help us host and operate the platform, under confidentiality obligations.
Legal: we may disclose data where required by law or a valid order, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Your Choices & Rights

You may edit your profile, delete your reviews, or delete your account in the app settings (subject to legal retention needs).
You may disable location permissions; Nearby's core discovery feature will then be limited.
You may withdraw consent to data processing at any time; withdrawing may limit your use of the platform.

Nearby is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18; if you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
