Delete Your Nearby Account

You can delete your Nearby account in two ways. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, your personal data, and your access to Nearby. This cannot be undone.

Option 1 — In the app

Delete Profile — available in the app under your profile settings.
Deactivate Account — available in the app under account settings.

Option 2 — By email (no app needed)

If you no longer have the app installed, you can request deletion by email:

Subject: Account Deletion Request

Send us an email from the email address linked to your Nearby account (or mention your registered mobile number in the message).
We will verify the request and confirm it by reply.
Your account and personal data are deleted within 7 days of verification, and we will email you a confirmation once done.

What gets deleted

Your account, profile, and personal information (name, phone number, email, photos).
Reviews you published are removed or permanently anonymised.
Your listing/contact details, if you were listed as a professional on Nearby.

Some information may be retained where the law requires it (for example, financial records), as described in our Privacy Policy.

Not sure you want to delete? If you just want a break, you can use Deactivate Account in the app instead — your account is hidden but can be reactivated later. Deletion is permanent.
